ABSOLUTE Digimatic caliper for tolerance checking Mitutoyo 573-181-30, measuring range 0-100 mm. Fitted with the new electromagnetic-induction AOS (Advanced Onsite Sensor) encoder used in top-of-the-range IP67 calipers; thanks to the AOS encoder, this caliper can be used without concern about possible contamination of the scale during measurement. The signal is not impaired by the presence of dirt (water, oil, etc.) on the scale; the slider moves smoothly and accurately.

ABSOLUTE Digimatic tolerance-checking caliper Mitutoyo 573-181-30, measuring range 0-100 mm. Equipped with the new AOS (Advanced Onsite Sensor) electromagnetic induction encoder used on the top-of-the-range IP67 calipers; thanks to the AOS encoder, this caliper can be used without worrying about contamination of the scale during measurement, since the signal is not affected by dirt (water, oil, etc.) on the scale; the slider moves smoothly and accurately.
Choose the caliper according to measuring range (0-100 mm), environment (IP67 for coolants and dust; standard AOS for the workshop and metrology room; carbon fibre for large ranges and light weight) and jaw shape (standard; knife-edge for grooves and small holes; carbide-tipped for abrasive surfaces; extra-long for deep features). Models "with data output" let you transfer measurements to a PC or tablet using Digimatic cables or U-WAVE.

Integration and programming
Digimatic instruments with data output transfer measurements using the Mitutoyo Digimatic protocol: via a cable with data button to a USB Input Tool (the PC receives them as keyboard input, directly in Excel or in the SPC software), or wirelessly with the U-WAVE transmitters (USB or Bluetooth receiver). The indicators can be connected to multi-channel display units and to statistical process control systems.
For integration into test stations, measuring fixtures or SPC software, our technical team will support you in choosing cables, receivers and software.
Calibration and repair
The instrument is supplied with Mitutoyo inspection certificate. For ISO 9001 / IATF quality systems, periodic calibration (typically annual) with a traceable certificate is recommended; RODER manages it through accredited laboratories. Periodically check the zero with the jaws closed and that the slider has no play; clean the beam and jaws after use with coolants.
