Description
The ST-1100 is an LED stroboscope for speed analysis and measurement, ideal for inspecting rotating machinery: by flashing in sync with the machine it creates the illusion of stationary or slowed-down images, allowing defects to be inspected and rotational speed to be recorded. The frequency is adjusted in coarse or fine steps; the backlit display shows the frequency, 10 user-stored frequencies and the low-battery warning. Applications: rotors, gears, vibration diagnostics, textile machinery, printing lines, power tools, belt timing, fan balancing.
Range 60–40,000 FPM, accuracy ±0.05% F.S. Illuminance at 3000 FPM: 950 lx at 10 cm, 600 lx at 20 cm, 370 lx at 30 cm. 5-digit backlit display; resolution 1 rpm below 40,000, 0.1 below 4000, 0.01 below 400. 10 storable frequencies (presets 200, 400, 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000, 10,000, 20,000, 30,000, 40,000). Guide to the series: portable LED stroboscopes (DT-326B, DT-362, DT-366, ST-1100, ST-4000, ST-5100) are the choice for maintenance and inspection of moving parts, with a rechargeable battery and long LED life; xenon models (DT-311D, DT-3011N, DT-3015N, DT-735) offer the highest light intensity for brightly lit environments; NEMA 4X/IP65 versions (DT-3011J) are for humid and dusty environments; fixed ST-328 (xenon) and ST-329 (LED) arrays illuminate the full width of printing, packaging and textile machines; BL (black light) versions are used to check inks and UV markings.

Integration and programming
The flash rate is set from the keypad or with the knob and read on the display; models with an external trigger input synchronise with a sensor (photocell, proximity) to automatically "freeze" the motion at the real speed of the machine, with phase shift adjustment.
The ST-328/ST-329 bars are installed on the machine using the supplied brackets and controlled from the remote control unit; versions with 100-120 V or 220-240 V supply. For integration with encoders or machine signals, our technical team will support you in choosing cables, sensors and adapters.
Calibration and repair
Shimpo stroboscopes are calibrated at the factory and frequency accuracy is ensured by the quartz oscillator. On request we supply the frequency calibration certificate with traceability. Xenon lamps, batteries, cables and rubber guards are available as original spare parts.
