Price and availability
Models without a displayed price are offered in a configuration defined together with our technical support: contact us for a quote stating the application and measuring range.
Selection guide: Slide calipers with inward-facing jaws
Slide caliper with inward-facing jaws Mitutoyo 573-651-20, measuring range 0-150 mm, with thumb roller, IP67. Measures wall thickness in holes and recesses; models with standard or pointed jaws; data output.
Choose the caliper according to measuring range (0–150 mm), environment (IP67 for coolants and dust; standard AOS for the workshop and metrology room; carbon fibre for large ranges and light weight) and jaw shape (standard; knife-edge for grooves and small holes; carbide-tipped for abrasive surfaces; extra-long for deep features). Models "with data output" let you transfer measurements to a PC or tablet using Digimatic cables or U-WAVE.
If in doubt, contact us: our technical support will recommend the right model, measuring range and accessories for your application.
Integration and programming
Digimatic instruments with data output transfer measurements using the Mitutoyo Digimatic protocol: via a cable with data button to a USB Input Tool (the PC receives them as keyboard input, directly in Excel or in the SPC software), or wirelessly with the U-WAVE transmitters (USB or Bluetooth receiver). The indicators can be connected to multi-channel display units and to statistical process control systems.
For integration into test stations, measuring fixtures or SPC software, our technical team will support you in choosing cables, receivers and software.
Calibration and repair
The instrument is supplied with Mitutoyo inspection certificate. For ISO 9001 / IATF quality systems, periodic calibration (typically annual) with a traceable certificate is recommended; RODER manages it through accredited laboratories. Periodically check the zero with the jaws closed and that the slider has no play; clean the beam and jaws after use with coolants.
Service: RODER S.r.l. – INNOVACHECK division handles calibration with certificate (including ACCREDIA through partner laboratories), periodic verification and repairs of Mitutoyo instruments in Italy. Contact us, stating the model and serial number.
