What it is for
A survey report is only as good as the instrument that produced it: with the CALBOXSMM5 box, the surveyor can demonstrate that the Skipper 5 was under control at the time of measurement. Place the instrument on the box, read it and compare it with the reference; if the value is out of tolerance, the instrument should be sent for calibration. It does not replace the annual certified calibration.
How to use it
Switch the instrument on, select the scale indicated on the box, place the instrument on the box and compare the reading with the reference. No battery, no maintenance.
