Description
The ST-329 is a fixed-mount strobe bar with high-power CREE LEDs, providing bright, stable light over a wide area with a much longer life than xenon stroboscopes. Available in standard lengths from 235 to 1500 mm, it is easy to fit to machines; an optional mounting kit is available. The separate control unit, connected to the bar, has an 8-key keypad and a large backlit LCD display; phase shift, flash duration and frequency can be adjusted quickly. The flash can be set manually or synchronised with the signal from a remote sensor, with delay and triggering on the rising or falling edge. Industries: printing, packaging, textiles, automotive, cables, mining, steel, chemicals, optics, medical and marine.
Measuring range 60–120,000 FPM, accuracy 0.01% ±1 digit F.S. at 25 °C, LED life approx. 3–5 years, backlit LCD display, resolution 0.1 FPM up to 12,000 and 1 above, flash duration 0.1–2.5°, phase shift 0–359°. Signal input 12 V pulsed, 3-pin M-16 connector, pulse >50 µs, delay 0–999 ms or 0–359°. Temperature 0–35 °C, humidity 35–85% RH. ABS control unit with magnetic mount and bracket; bar with ABS window and aluminium frame, flanges for 6 mm screws; IP65 protection rating (control unit and bar). Cross-section 153 x 90 mm. CE marking, RoHS. 1-year warranty.

Integration and programming
The flash rate is set from the keypad or with the knob and read on the display; models with an external trigger input synchronise with a sensor (photocell, proximity) to automatically "freeze" the motion at the real speed of the machine, with phase shift adjustment.
The ST-328/ST-329 bars are installed on the machine using the supplied brackets and controlled from the remote control unit; versions with 100-120 V or 220-240 V supply. For integration with encoders or machine signals, our technical team will support you in choosing cables, sensors and adapters.
Calibration and repair
Shimpo stroboscopes are calibrated at the factory and frequency accuracy is ensured by the quartz oscillator. On request we supply the frequency calibration certificate with traceability. Xenon lamps, batteries, cables and rubber guards are available as original spare parts.
