Borematic adapter 6–12 mm – Mitutoyo 954595

Selection guide: Accessories

Mitutoyo Borematic adapter 954595, measuring range 6–12 mm.

Choose the micrometer according to measuring range (6–12 mm) and contact type: flat anvils for shafts and plates, blade anvils for grooves and slots, pointed or disc anvils for threads and gears, interchangeable anvils for wide ranges. The IP65 protection rating allows use on the machine with coolant; the ratchet friction ensures constant measuring force. Models "with data output" connect to a PC or U-WAVE.

If in doubt, contact us: our technical support will recommend the model, measuring range and accessories suited to your application.

Integration and programming

This model is without data output: the reading is taken from the display. If you need to record measurements on a PC, choose the "with data output" version of the same series, which can be connected via Digimatic cable or U-WAVE.

For integration into test stations, measuring fixtures or SPC software, our technical team will support you in choosing cables, receivers and software.

Calibration and repair

The instrument is supplied with Mitutoyo inspection certificate. For ISO 9001 / IATF quality systems, periodic calibration (typically annual) with a traceable certificate is recommended; RODER manages it through accredited laboratories. Check the zero (using the supplied setting standard for ranges above 25 mm) and the parallelism of the anvils with optical flats; always use the ratchet stop for a constant measuring force.

Service: RODER S.r.l. – INNOVACHECK division handles calibration with certificate (including ACCREDIA through partner laboratories), periodic verification and repairs of Mitutoyo instruments in Italy. Contact us, stating the model and serial number.
