ABSOLUTE Digimatic ID-C digital indicator Mitutoyo 543-710, travel 12.7 mm, resolution 0.01 mm, lug back. Allows two-way communication, for example to set parameters from a PC (Digimatic S 1 interface); thanks to the ABSOLUTE sensor, there is no need to set the origin each time the unit is switched on, saving time and effort; excellent visibility thanks to the large digital/analogue display.

Choose the digital indicator according to travel (12.7 mm) and resolution (0.01 mm): ID-S and ID-SX for routine inspection, ID-C for advanced functions (GO/NG tolerances, Max/Min/TIR, calculation), ID-F with a large backlit display, ID-H for high precision (0.0005 mm), ID-N/ID-B for compact applications. Check the back type (flat or lug back) and the Ø8 mm stem for mounting on stands and fixtures.

Integration and programming

Digimatic instruments with data output transfer measurements using the Mitutoyo Digimatic protocol: by cable with data button to a USB Input Tool (the PC receives them as keyboard input, directly into Excel or SPC software), or wirelessly with U-WAVE transmitters (USB or Bluetooth receiver). Digital indicators can be connected to multi-channel display units and to statistical process control systems.

For integration into test stations, measuring fixtures or SPC software, our technical team will help you choose cables, receivers and software.

Calibration and repair

The instrument is supplied with a Mitutoyo inspection certificate. For ISO 9001 / IATF quality systems, periodic calibration (typically annual) with a traceable certificate is recommended; RODER arranges it through accredited laboratories. Periodically check that the spindle slides smoothly and check repeatability on a gauge block; avoid impacts on the contact point.
